Revista Justicias Año 4. Volumen 4. Numero 1. Tendencias actuales del derecho procesal en América Latina

Justicia(s) Journal in its volume 4, number 1, January-June 2025 period, presents the current panorama of procedural law in Latin America. According to Bujosa (2019), the institutions, principles, systems and norms of procedural law have undergone a process of constitutionalization, particularly in Latin American states.

Within this framework, the volume is structured in three sections. The first corresponds to the monographic section "Current Trends in Procedural Law in Latin America," whose articles analyze, in general terms, the transformations of procedural institutions and their impact on the reconfiguration of justice systems in the region. Another thematic line examines the challenges posed by new information and communication technologies (ICT) to procedural principles, while another addresses, from the general theory of process, the tension between judicial efficiency and fundamental guarantees. Likewise, the need to promote judicial argumentation models with a pragmatic approach is explored and, finally, recent normative reforms regarding effective judicial protection are critically evaluated.
