View Vol. 4 No. 2 (2025): Challenges of Private International Law in the Digital Age

The journal Justicia(s), volume 4, number 2, December 2025, presents current challenges surrounding international law, particularly in matters of private international law. In an increasingly interconnected world, cross-border movements have reconfigured legal relations. Phenomena such as human mobility, digitalization of judicial processes, and the emergence of technological tools demonstrate the need to adapt legal systems to standards of celerity, effectiveness, and international jurisdictional cooperation. In this scenario, emerging information and communication technologies present themselves as opportunities to strengthen digital justice, although ethical questions remain regarding their regulation and scope. Accordingly, this monographic issue contributes manuscripts addressing diverse topics: mechanisms of international jurisdictional cooperation in response to transnational organized crime, conflicts arising from personal data protection, the transformation of judicial systems, and the international abduction and return of children and adolescents.
